NHS Charities Together is the national, independent charity caring for NHS staff, patients and communities by providing the extra services and support that standard government funding alone isn’t able to cover.
By working with a network of over 230 NHS charities across the UK, NHS Charities Together ensure that funds go where they are needed most by helping to take pressure off NHS staff and services and enabling access to better healthcare.

Hooray for the National Health Service, now in its 75th year! To celebrate, we are donating £5 from the sale of every Personalised NHS 75 Years ½ Pint Mug to this highly deserving cause.

NHS Staff
The beating heart of our NHS. NHS Charities together ensure staff have somewhere to rest during busy shifts, provide dedicated counselling support for those who are struggling with their mental health, and also fund training for staff so that they can better support each other.
Patients
NHS Charities fund projects that make hospital feel less like hospital, provide specialist equipment and invest in new technology, and help to provide valuable support for families who are struggling with bereavement.
The Community
Working to support the health and wellbeing of people in the community to ease the pressures off our hospitals. Whether it’s through exercise, diet, or by bringing people together – this can help prevent people from getting seriously ill or needing long-term term support, and also includes training and equipment for thousands of emergency response volunteers.

It's a wonderful feeling to know that outside of normal government spending, there is a tremendous amount of hard work carried out to raise money by charitable organisations such as NHS Charities Together. In my heart, these amazing charities are equally as important as the NHS itself. - Wendy, NHS Nurse

"Recently, the matron has started raising money to develop a new garden for the critical care team. Projects like this are so important as we will be able to take patients there, and staff can also take time out to reflect" - Kate, NHS Nurse

"In 2021 following the fallout of the pandemic, Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust with the help of its charity, Valley Hospital Charity, offered staff many health and wellbeing initiatives to help them recoup. The support was phenomenal. Many of my colleagues have had fantastic results and have all been able to make positive lifestyle choices" - Karen, Midwifery Parents Experience Lead
