Following the release of a collection of spongeware pottery that pays homage to the life and reign of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, we are expanding the Queen’s Commemorative Collection further with the addition of the ‘Queen and Countrywoman’ ½ Pint Mug.
Although we saw the Queen regularly adorned in priceless jewels and glamorous gowns, we were also familiar with the image of Her Majesty out in all weathers in tweeds and boots. Whether walking her Corgis or her Labradors, in riding clothes exercising her horses in Windsor Great Park or animatedly watching her horses at a racecourse, at heart she was a countrywoman.
The release of the ‘Queen and Countrywoman’ mug reflects the pleasure of this simple private life where the Queen often seemed at her happiest, but frequently had to sacrifice to do her duty. Although we can never fully express our gratitude, Thank You Ma’am.
The Queen and Countrywoman mug will be released to Collectors first on Monday 24th October. This will launch online between 8-9am, and will also be available at our Factory Shop.
